Forbes unveiled today its third annual “30 Under 30 Europe” list, featuring 300 young innovators, entrepreneurs and leaders across Europe under the age of 30 who are transforming art & culture, entertainment, industry, technology, finance, media & marketing, law & policy, retail & ecommerce, science & healthcare, health canada pharmacy, and social entrepreneurship. Among those featured on this year’s list are boxer Anthony Joshua, pop stars Little Mix, Dua Lipa and Rita Ora, and 28-year-old French MP Hervé Berville, a member of Emmanuel Macron’s ruling En Marche party. The list was curated by a panel of accomplished and acclaimed individuals in each of the 10 categories, including filmmaker Edgar Wright and businesswoman Arianna Huffington.
30 Under 30 honorees are judged on leadership and disruption; entrepreneurial mind-set and results; and the likelihood of changing their field over the next half-century. To qualify for the list, honorees must have a strong connection to Europe. Their connection to the continent is determined through citizenship, birth or residence. This year’s list is the most diverse Forbes has ever released geographically, with 69 countries represented. Notably, it is the first-time citizens from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Albania, Belarus and Macedonia have appeared on the list.
